Few gifts I made lately

    Hello! ! I'm back and I want to show you some gifts I made lately... This one was for a friend of mine's daughter... She moved into a new house with her family and so when I went to visit them...I brought them this little present... It's a cross stitch embroidery made with my sewing machine...                        

       Surely for the hand cross stitch lovers this is not a cutie but I can say that it's lovely and it was so fun make it and...of course...quickly than do it by hand 😬😬😬 I think they appreciate it... 😊                                

   Then I made two patchwork pillows... They were for 2 young girls...the pattern is the same but the color scheme changes according to the colors they have in their rooms... so...the one above was made with all the shades of green... For the one below I choose shades of pink, light and dark grey and a bit of gold...  

  Finally I made other two embroidery in the hoop... The first one is a cute cross stitch snowman embroidered on a light blue felt... Felt is perfect for this kind of embroidery, not only because the embroidery looks better on felt but also because it's easier to set the back too cause you can cut the felt and it does not fray at all...  

 Last but not least... I made this fun embroidery showing Mr. and Mrs. Claus dancing together...

I love it...it's so happy and fun...

Sewing Sunday

Hello my Friends!!!
How are you going?
It's Monday again...the week end unfortunately went away so quickly...
But...I've had a very fun Sunday...
My friend Luciana come here and we spent the whole day sewing these super cute origami bags...

They were really so fun to make...we chose happy and brilliant fabrics and this is the result...

We started sewing one...then...the second one...and it seemed that we really can't stopped sewing them...

Every fabrics we chose gave them a different look and it was amazing to see how they turned out...
They really make pretty gifts...we can fill them with lots of things...make up, accessories, threads needles and fabrics, biscuits, candies...

I think they are perfect for any occasion...change the fabris and fill them with goodies for make a very personalised gift...

We started to fill our Xmas box with these bags and we intend make lots of other cute things from now till December so...when Xmas will come...we will be ready!!!

It's never too early to start with Xmas gifts isn't it? LOL!!!

And finally...yesterday...when my friend left my house...I finished a project that I've started mmm...I really can't remember when but...at least 3 or 4 years ago...

It was another Sunday sewing day and along with my friend we sewed this super cute box...

I sewed it all around and just leave the bottom to sew...

But...this bottom...took me soooooo long  to be done....LOL

Now..it's done and I'm proud of myself LOL!!!

I have tons of other UFO's to sew...we will see what I'll do with them...

It's Almost 1 year...

...That I didn't write anything on my blog...
No more things happened during this period, so I didn't have so much to write...
Anyway...during last period...I come back to sewing...I sew lots of Christmas gifts and I enjoyed it so much...
In this post...I just want to share with you what I did...

I sew some Angels...

A cute appliquè pillow...

Some Mug Rug that I gave away with a jar filled of hot chocolat powder...

and...last but not least...a Quilt!!!
I totally looooved to sew it...it was so much time I didn't make a whole quilt...
I draw the pattern by myself...I sew patch by patch it all and I quilted it...

Now...I'm going to start some new Crochet project too...

Busy Working...

On Christmas gifts and tree decorations today...
Well...as usually...I'm really late in making my Christmas gifts... :O)
But today...I've really had so much fun choosing fabrics, planning, cutting, sewing...what a day...

These are some fabrics I chose but...I can't say what I've made with them...some of the people that will receive them...should read this post...LOL!!!!

I was not the only one so busy today...my sewing/embroidery machine worked so hard too...
In fact, I decided to "renew" our Christmas tree this year...and I would love to have an "handmade" one...
I mean that I'm making myself the tree decorations...
So...I'm making some embroidered laces with the embroidery machine...

My Christmas tree will be white and red so I'm making my laces in white...

Here there are some of them, tomorrow I will have to put them in the water so the "paper" around them will disappear and they will became real laces...
Plus, I'm  crocheting some other ornaments but...I still have to take pics of them...
I will add some fabric and felt  stars and hearts too and...mmm...maybe something else...
I have a brainstorm of ideas in mind and...I'm enjoying every single moment!!!

Sewing, sewing...sewing

Hello my friends!!!!
How are you?
Unfotunately...I feel sick...I started to feel bad last night and so today I took a day off to work...
With head ache, pain in every single bones and fever...it's not right go to work... LOL!!!
But...I can blog a bit...in the warm hug of my bed with my computer...

So, I want  to show you what I've sewn lately...
Well...first of all...I was not alone.
I've had 2 wonderful Crafty Saturday with 2 special friends: Lucy and Nico.
With Lucy we've sewn a bunch of Tilda's items.
You can see the lavender wings above, they are soooo cute and smell wonderfully!
We've had sooooo much fun sewing them!!!

Then we've sewn the snail but...it's not completed...
Hubby is preparing for me a piece of wood and I'll add some little cushions and she will became my sewing helper!!!!

Then we made this awesome heart with wings, it's so cute and soft and i think it's perfect as Christmas decoration too!!!

Ok, now I want to show you what I've sewn with my friend Nico...

This is a wonderful Keyka Lou pattern and we really enjoyed make them (we made 2 of them, this one pictured is mine).

Not only it looks beautiful but it's also so practical!!!

It's so roomy inside and has 1 pocket that it's perfect for holds pens and it fit perfectly my iphone.

Plus you can keep your favourite book or what ever you need! I really had so much sewing these amazing things, hope you like them!!!

A Card for my Dad

Hi!!
Tomorrow the whole family is going to celebrate my Dad's Birthday!
We will go to the restaurant but...for him...it's a surprise...

He doesn't have any clues.
Tomorrow morning my Mom will tell him that my hubby and me are going to bring them to my sister's house for have a lunch all together!
So...when they will be in our car, we will drive them to the restaurant!

We ordered for him a wonderful cake and bought him some nice stuffs:a new cell phone, a sweather and a t-shirt and I made him this cute Birthday Card, hoping that he likes it!

It's turning the BIG 70th so...it's a very important Birthday!!!

My working Sunday!

Hi to all!
Few days ago my colleague asked me to make them some things that she would like to give away as Chrsitmas Gifts...
She saw my Eco Heart Collapsible Bags and asked me 3 of them...
One was the Sheeps one as you can see in my shop.
Then she told me that she has a friend that love, love, love the green color and so...I made the one you can see in the first collage.


Then, she needs another for a friend that loves sunflower and so...here it is:
Finally...she tolds me that she needs something really cute for a young girl, a lip balm holder that is soooo girly...
So...I made this:

The fabulous world of Tilda

Hi to all!

Probably lots of you already knows Tilda's creations, they are beautiful, so sweet and they make perfect gifts for you, your home, friends, family!

When you start make them...you can't stop!!!

So, I started making somw nice Geese, I put them on my table and they looks great!

Then...I made an angel for my bathroom: it requires lots of work but...I'm so happy with the result! My Mom and sister now...would love to have one too...

Then I tried to make this Jewerly Mannequin and...I have to say that I love it too...

I bought 2 Tilda's books lately and every time I opne them...I start to dream about filling my whole house with those wonderful projects...

And...in my wish list...there are other Tilda's books...

Some Gifts I made...

Hi to all!
I'm back finally!
My last post was in Winter and now finally...Summer is here...
Not a wonderful summer here in the north of Italy were I live...ok...temperatures are so hight at the moment but...the sky is not blu and the sun is not shining as usually the do in Summer season...
Actually the sky is...GREY...all around is wet, humid and...hot... GRRR!!!!!
Hopefully next week will be a little bit better...we will see...

Well...during past months, I made some nice gifts...and now I would love to show them to you...
The 1st one, is a baby quilt I made for "Marco".
Marco is a beautiful little guy, he's so adorable and he is the son of a dear friend...
This is the baby quilt I made for him:

I made some log cabin blocks and I embroidered (by machine) some really cute little animals, I put all together and...this is the quilt...

Then I made a gift for another little baby, a sweet little girl, "Emma".One of my friends became Grandmather (but she's sooooo young!!!) so I made something for her little Honey... I made some baby bibs, a stuffed heart with her name embroidered on it and a little angel appliquè and a drawstring bag that holds all her gifts...

Last but not least...I made 3 stuffed hearts and a coordinated drawstring bag for a Dear friend. There are the words "Live, Love, Laughts" machine embroidered on them and also on the bag.

A quilt for my Dad: part one

Hi to all!
About 3 weeks ago my Dad fell bad in the middle of the night...
we immediately called the emergency and they brought him to the hospital and the diagnosis was...heart attack...

You can imagine how much scared we were and also...very very angry...
because...my Dad is a very active man, he doesn't smoke, doesn't drink, doens't eat too much and only homemade food...he walks very much and does lots of different activities so...we really didn't understand how is possible to get an heart attack in this way...

After few hours...the doctors said that probably it was not an heart attack and we were so happy to hear this but...anyway...they said that he has a heart valve very damaged and...he needs a surgery for to change this valve...

Ok...now...we are so much scary again...an heart surgery is something that is not very easy to manage...
Now...my Dad is waiting for the surgery...we are waiting that the Doctor will tell us when it will be possible to do it but...he needs to have it...soon...

So...in this period...I'm really so worry but...I would not like that my Dad "see" my worries and so I try to be happy and relaxed...when I'm with him...

But inside of me...I don't feel in this way...

Anyway...I decided to make him a quilt...I would love to give it to him while he will be at the hospital, after the surgery...
And surely...this quilt will be so useful when he will come back home as he will have a period of recovering at home and...winter is so close...
So, hopefully, this quilt will keep him warm and...so loved...

I started my quilt today.
I chose tu put on it Deers, my Dad is an hunter but...he loves Deers...
So...I fused some Deers' shape on the back of brown fabrics and I cut them...
Now, I'm going to sew them on my central blocks.
In the next days, I'll work on his quilt and...I'll post here more pics about my progress...
