Green and Blue Table Cloth

 Hello My Friends!!!
How are you today?
A new week is started, the weather is soooo cold here...I can say it's freezing here...
But today We've had a wonderful sunny day!
Not as the past week end...gray, rainy...boooo!!!

I would like to show you my last table cloth, I made it  as a gift for a  special friend and love the way it turned out, so bright and colorful!

As I told you in a previous post, I found this pattern on Pinterest but this time I changed the center making Log Cabins Blocks...

What do you think?
I would love to try one with some Christmas fabrics...
And...working on this table cloth...I treated myself with a delicious  apple pie...LOL!!!

Hearts

Hello My Friends!!!!!
How are you today?
It's a cloudy Sunday morning here, not too hot but...not cold...
As I told you, my sewing machine was back so I'm enjoying my sewing this week and this big size embroidered stuffed heart is my latest creation.

This heart will go to a friend that is having a bad period with her Grandchild gravely ill...
So I really hope this one will bring her a bit of confort...

But, during years, I've made lots of hearts...
Some for very happy occasions...

Birthdays, new Birth...

Housewarming gifts...

Some for Swaps...

Others for toughtful occasions...

For sale...

For decorate...

For Christmas...

Definitely I love making hearts and they are suitable for any occasion!
An Heart is always a good gift to give and a wonderful gift to get!!!

Handmade Cards

Hello my friends!!!!!
I hope that you all have had a joyful, happy, merry and fun Christmas!!!!
Now that finally all my gifts reached theyr destinations, I can show you the homemade Christmas Cards I made this year...

I was bored about buy Xmas cards so...I tried to make them myself!
Let me say that...I'm not a card maker at all or...a scrappy girl so...I didn't have much clues about making cards...

I took white and red cardboard, ribbons, threads, buttons, card tags that I've found online for free and...this is the result!

Cut a seam of the cardboard with my zigzag rotary cutter, sewed ribbons and tags and glued buttons...

Surely I can't say they were Amazing or Gorgeous or Wonderful...
But I can say they were nice and pretty and...above all, they were made with  the heart, not in series and having in mind every person to whom they were intended...

Autumn Swap and a Birthday Gift

Hello my friends!
Finally it's Saturday and so...the week end is officially started!!!
I have some crafting planned so...I can't wait to start!
But, first of all, I would like to show you what I've got from the Autumn Swap with my friends...plus another birthday gift!!!
Above you can see the wonderful towel I've got from Nico, it's absolutely beautiful with the acorn and leaves appliquè on it!!!!!
The perfect touch for my Fall Table!!!

And this is the super cute and fun personalized box I've got from Chiara, isn't this pretty owl sooooo sweet????
On the back, there is the letter "D" that makes it...MINE!!!! LOL!!!!

And finally, another birthday gift, this one is from Chiara too:

A beautiful hand made mini album.
The front shows my age...sigh...sigh...and the inside is divided in 5 parts representing the big steps of my life...
It's really a so special gift and I can't wait to "complete" it with my pics!!!!!

4 Seasons Swap: Fall

Hi my friends!!!
how are you today?
I can say I'm fine cause it's Friday evening here and...the week end is officially started!!!!! YAY!!!!

Well, today I would like to show you what I made for my 4 seasons swap - Autumn -
The members of this swap are my dear friends Nico, Chiara and Simo and this was the last round of our swap! :O(

So...I decided to make some autumn/halloween inspired Quilted Mug Rug!

I've never made mug rugs before but I have to say that...now that I started...it will be so hard to stop!!!!
They are so much fun to make and...really so usefull!!!
So, here there are 3 mug rugs I made:

I've also added some tea bags, wrapped them nicely and sent them to my friends!

And...others will be added soon!!!
I think they make really cute little presents that are so appreciated from anyone!

Here around there are lots of country fairs so I think I will go visit some...they are always so nice, especially in autumn with pumpkins and other autumn products!!!

Easter like Christmas

As I told you few weeks ago, a friend of mine and her husband come here to spend some days with us for Easter. We have had a wonderful time all together, Nathalie and Jean Marc are really so sweet and nice and beautiful friends!

They come here with lots of gifts for us both...

For hubby, Jean Marc brought a wonderful Jam, a bottle of Whisky and a decoration with Rooster and bell to hang in out gazebo in the garden.

Nathalie made me a soooooo beautiful and soft crochet ruffle scarf, I wore it everyday when they were here. I totally adore it!!

Then, she made me an awesome fleece quilt!

It's so soft and confortable too and it looks gorgeous with the appliquè flowers and the binding made of the same fabric of the flowers!

And...last but not least...a treasury box...a wonderful box full of fABULOUS FABRICS!!!!!

Wow...it really seemed me Christmas more than Easter!!!!!

An Easter Basket is growing in my hands

 Happy Sunday to you all my friends!!!
How is your day going?
Mine was...full of cleanings...as usual and in about half an hour...we will have  my parents for dinner here...
Tonight...PIZZA!!!!!
We love to make it and...of course...to eat it!!!!

Ok...Pizza is in my toughts right now but...I would like to show you my latest creation: a crochet Easter basket, my very first one but surely...not the last one for sure!!! LOL!!!

I loved the way it growed up in my hands...starting from a small center, then it became bigger...and bigger...then the basket started to take his form...

It's amazing how starting with a ball of  yarn and a crochet hook...

you can create something totally new...

I made for my basket a nice white border and then filled it with chocolate eggs...this will be a special gift for a special friend that will come to visit us for Easter...
Hopefully...she's not reading this post...LOL!!!
I've had so much fun making it, hope she'll like it!!!

4 Seasons Swap: Spring

Hello!!!

How are you all today?

here it's a beautiful day, so warm and sunny, the perfect day for this post!!!

Well...I organized with my friends Nico, Chiara e Simo a 4 seasons swap as I already wrote fews posts ago.

Now...the Spring swap is already done...YAY!!!!!

I made for my friends those pretty crochet necklaces, I found an easy tutorial HERE and I've had so much fun crocheting and also packaging my lariats, including instructions about how to wear them!

And...those are the beauties I've got in the mail...

A wonderful and so spring-y decorate big size clothes pin from Chiara, it's soooo adorable!!!

A felt butterfly and flower from Simo. They are super cute and I'm thinking to use them for decorate my magnetic memory board (this will be another post!!!).

And...last but not least at all...a sooooo sweet and wonderfully smelling tiny spring bear from Nico! It's so cute and his wonderful smell is a mix of spices and mint I think...

Now...I can't wait for Summer Swap!!!

4 seasons swap!

Hi!
Some years ago I met 3 wonderful Girls through the Web: Nico, Chiara and Simo.
We immediately became great friends also if we live in 4 differents regions in Italy...

But, every year we try to organize a meeting for spend a bit of time together, usually a couple of days sewing, chatting, eating, laughing!
And...every day, we exchange emails!!!
We all are a bit crazy and...we are crafters!
We created a group and so we are C4P (that means Crazy For Patch).

Now...we organized a swap between us...a 4 season swap!
We already did the winter swap and now we are ready to prepare something nice and cute for the Spring one!
