Last week end...

Hello my friends!!!!
how are you going?
I'm fine and another week went away...wow...

Last week end I've had so much fun...
Saturday I went to the sea with my Mom...
I strongly needed a day away, sun, sea, relax and...a blue blue sky!!!
We went once again to Menton (France) and it was awesome!!!

The weather was really beautiful, sunny but not too hot, about 26 degrees...perfect!!!
As you can see in the pic...people were doing exercices near the beach...totally awesome!
Not the same to go to the gym isn't it??? LOL!!!

We didn't went to the beach...we just walked in front of the sea and through the beautiful french shops...

We started our day with a delicious "Marocchino Cofee"...

And go ahead with awesome fishes and grilled vegetables for lunch!!!
They looks awesome in this pic but...believe me...they tasted better!!!!

Ha, ha...Mommy and me...
I love these kind of days...just girls...LOL!!!!
Dad stayed at home but...he paid for our lunch...thank you Daddy!!!! LOL!!!!

Then, Sunday...I've had another fun day...totally different but...I loved it so much too!!!!

My friend Luciana come here and we decided to sew something cute...
We chose a really pretty project we found on Pinterest...through the gazillions of pins we have...LOL!!!
And we started to sew...

The project is a really cute table topper but...I'll let you know more about it in another post...
We chose different colors for the same project and this is really fun because you can see how different they look!!!
Now mine is ready to be quilted and I'm planning to work on it soon!
Can't wait to see it finished and displaied on my table!!!

She made some delicious "heart muffins" for our sweet break...

With all that work and chatting...we needed something sweet...LOL!!!
So...that was my past week end...we will see whom the one that is starting tomorrow will bring me...

Hello my Friends!!!!!!!
How are you today?
Here it's a cloudy and cold Sunday...in effect we are expecting snow...
I really hope that...it will not snow here...ok...it can snow in the mountain but...not here...LOL!!!

I love snow but...I would like to be able to take my car out of the garage and...if it snow...I can't do it...

Anyway...I need to work on new projects at this time for keep my mind busy and also for relax myself...

I saved tons and tons of wonderful projects on Pinterest but...I feel soooo much lazy and demotivated lately and...I didn't start anything new...

Now...I've got 3 big big balls of a wonderful grey yarn and...I decided to make myself a blanket...
I found crocheting so much relaxing and so...I'm going ahead with this idea.
I'm browsing the web for searching a pattern that I like and...I found  tons of them.
But one particularly catch my attention: it's called brain dead and...the name...says soooo much about it...LOL!!!!
You have to make a chain, then the first row in a way and...from the second to the last row...you always work the same way...LOL!!!!!
Can you find something easier than this????
And...it also looks  very pretty!
So now...I'm going to start it and then I'll let you know how it is going...

My Scraps' Box

Hello my Friends!!!!
How are you today?
Here the weather is...grey, cloudy and we have tons of angry mosquitos all around...
Let me say that... I HATE them but probably...they LOOOOOVE me...
I have a gazillion of mosquitos bites every where and this is just driving me crazy...GRRRR!!!
If you have some suggestions to prevent or to "survive" to mosquitos bites...PLEASE...let me know!!!!

Anyway...today I would love to show you my treasury box, aka my box full of fabrics scraps...

Isn't it amazing how many scraps you collect during years?
Every project you make.... produces new scraps...LOL!!!!
And...I don't know what about you but...I can not throw away even the smallest piece so...now...I've ended up with this...LOL!!!!

Today I decided to make something with my scraps so...I selected few of them, the biggest pieces...

Pressed them...

And cut them in 2.5" squares

Now they are ready to be pieced in a colorful quilt!!!

To be honest...I think I have enought material cutted for a couple of quilts...

I'm going to piece them in nine patch blocks, with a neutral background.

And, as I'm going to make a lap quilt, I would like to try to quilt it with the "As you Go" method, I've never tried it before...

Enjoying wonderful weather

Hello My Friends!!!!
How are you today?
It's Monday again...GRRR...and a new and busy week started...
But...we can keep our Sunday's memories with us for all the week...

Yesterday the weather was awesome here and...so it's today...
So we went to our mountains...
The scenery was gorgeous!!!

The lake was sooooo blue...and so relaxing...
But the sun was so hot so...I've enjoied a little walk around it...throught the trees...

Surely it's not usual to find a wonderful day like yesterday...especially during the week end...LOL!!!
So we enjoied every single minute of it...

Live music was fun too!!!!

The sun was hot but...there was a summer breeze that was...perfect!!!

A break day

Hello my Friends!!!
How is your week end going?
Mine is going great!!!
Yesterday finally...we had a day off and we went to the sea!!! YAY!!!!

I really needed a day far from here, a sunny weather, relax and fun and...nothing else...

Mom and Dad came with us so we celebrated Mother's day there...

It was sunny and warm but...not too much hot...perfect!!!

I also did a bit of shopping...a pair of earrings, a cute bag...but mostly I loved the weather...
Probably because here we are having always bad weather...
Right now is raining and...it's so cold again...terrible...

It's amazing how flowers and trees are "Spring-y" there...

Ohhhhh...we had a wonderful lunch...

Fishes, fishes and fishes...
I have to say that...I don't like particularly fishes...I'm more than a pasta and pizza girl...LOL!!!
But...these grilled fishes were...GORGEOUS!!!!

Sometimes...few hours far from home could be really...lovely!!!! :O)
Today...as I said before...it's cold and rainy so...perfect for stay inside in my sewing room and...create something new...
This surely is my favourite kind of week end...

Today...BBQ Day!!!

Hi again!
Today was holiday here in Italy (Ferragosto) so hubby and I decided to have BBQ...
We grilled ANYTHING we like so...fish, potatoes, corns, cheese, sweet pepper...

All was really so delicious!
We eated in our yard, near the BBQ with music...so fun!!!!

After lunch, we needed a good coffee...we had a bit of relax reading and crocheting and...we ended our fun afternoon with an iced Mojito...
What a lovely day!!!!

The Perfect Relaxing Sunday

Hi my Friends!!!!

how are you today?

Finally here we are having good weather, sun and  warm temperatures and yesterday was our very first day of summer!!!(ok...summer started officially few days ago but as we got rain and cold...it seemed more Autumn that Summer...)

We decided to stay at home and enjoy the weather in perfect relax...no hours drive for go to the sea...no hours drive for go to the mountain...no caos...just...relax!!!
So, my sister and her husband come here too and we spent the whole day in the garden!

Ok...boys...COOK FOR US!!!! They did a BBQ with meat and vegetables and fish...sooo yummy!!! Can you think a better start to our relaxing day???
We didn't have to think to go to the grocery store and fix launch...just have relax and this is ecaxtly what we did...!!!

We got the tan and we also find the time for a nice pedicure...how fun!!!!
We laughed soooo much!!!!

Then, in the middle of the afternoon, also Mom and Dad come here!
I prepare a fresh snack with Mojito and Chips...all my guests loved them!!! LOL!!!!
After the Mojito...we decided to play darts and...believe me...after a glass of Mojito...it's not easy...LOL!!!!

But the fun is sure!!!!

LOL!!!!

Someone was able to put 2 darts one inside the other...LOL!!!
In the evening...we had a wonderful pizza all togheter and it was the perfect end for a perfect day!!!!
Sometimes...it's not necessary to go so far or do incredibly and adventurous things for have fun!!!
This was my Sunday...what about yours?

What a day...!!!

What a busy and stressful day at work today... Wow...I fell like something was exploded in my head...a terrible headache and...a gazillion of things to do... The more things I accomplished...the more things I still have to do... Finally my day at office is ended, now I'm at home trying to get a bit of relax! I've just created this lovely mosaic with peaceful images I found on the web... LOL!!! Hope you like it!!! Have a nice day and evening!!! Dany

OHHHHMMMM...RELAX!

Hi and happy Friday night to all!
I've had some really busy and stressfull weeks at work and now...I'm completely exausted...
I take a day off to work tomorrow so I will have a longer week end for find new energies and...put myself in the right mood for start all again on Monday...

Probably I'll try to relax a bit "cleaning" my mind and thinking only to nice things...

Tomorrow morning I'll go out for a long walk, I'll carry only my MP3 and...go!

Then, I boked a relaxing body massage for tomorrow afternoon...surely it will help!

I planned a loooong and warm bath at the end of the day...

And...this is only my Friday!!!

I decided that this week end I'll only do things I love and...ok...my hubby for 1 time will have to accept this...LOL!!!!

I hope that those 3 days will really give me all the relax that I'd need!!!!

Any suggestions?

Knitting a new scarf

Hi!
yesterday I've had a very stressful day at work...
When I come home...I really needed a bit of relax...
So...after dinner and a long shower...I looked throught my yarns and my colorful knitting needles and I found this beautiful grey wool.
It's 100% merino wool, so soft and warm...

I weared my pijama, take my place on the couch near the lightfire and...started to knit a scarf for myself...
What a nice way to take a bit of relax at the end of a "black" day!
And soon...I'll have a new scarf to wear!!!!
