Green and Blue Table Cloth

 Hello My Friends!!!
How are you today?
A new week is started, the weather is soooo cold here...I can say it's freezing here...
But today We've had a wonderful sunny day!
Not as the past week end...gray, rainy...boooo!!!

I would like to show you my last table cloth, I made it  as a gift for a  special friend and love the way it turned out, so bright and colorful!

As I told you in a previous post, I found this pattern on Pinterest but this time I changed the center making Log Cabins Blocks...

What do you think?
I would love to try one with some Christmas fabrics...
And...working on this table cloth...I treated myself with a delicious  apple pie...LOL!!!

An Easter Basket is growing in my hands

 Happy Sunday to you all my friends!!!
How is your day going?
Mine was...full of cleanings...as usual and in about half an hour...we will have  my parents for dinner here...
Tonight...PIZZA!!!!!
We love to make it and...of course...to eat it!!!!

Ok...Pizza is in my toughts right now but...I would like to show you my latest creation: a crochet Easter basket, my very first one but surely...not the last one for sure!!! LOL!!!

I loved the way it growed up in my hands...starting from a small center, then it became bigger...and bigger...then the basket started to take his form...

It's amazing how starting with a ball of  yarn and a crochet hook...

you can create something totally new...

I made for my basket a nice white border and then filled it with chocolate eggs...this will be a special gift for a special friend that will come to visit us for Easter...
Hopefully...she's not reading this post...LOL!!!
I've had so much fun making it, hope she'll like it!!!

Half Granny Square Shawl

Hi and Happy Sunday to all!
Yesterday I finished my 1st Shawl ever and I'm so excited to show it to you!!!
It's more than a shawlette than a shawl as it's not very big but I'm so delighted about the result!

I had 4 balls of this very "Fall" yarn in my stash and so I decided to go ahead with them.
I can't find one more to the shop where I bought them 2 years ago and this caused that my shawl is actually a shawlette...LOL!!!!

I found on Raverly a free and easy pattern for this half granny square shawl and I fell in love with it!

I've just added a nice border to the original pattern and this is the result!
