Autumn Swap and a Birthday Gift

Hello my friends!
Finally it's Saturday and so...the week end is officially started!!!
I have some crafting planned so...I can't wait to start!
But, first of all, I would like to show you what I've got from the Autumn Swap with my friends...plus another birthday gift!!!
Above you can see the wonderful towel I've got from Nico, it's absolutely beautiful with the acorn and leaves appliquè on it!!!!!
The perfect touch for my Fall Table!!!

And this is the super cute and fun personalized box I've got from Chiara, isn't this pretty owl sooooo sweet????
On the back, there is the letter "D" that makes it...MINE!!!! LOL!!!!

And finally, another birthday gift, this one is from Chiara too:

A beautiful hand made mini album.
The front shows my age...sigh...sigh...and the inside is divided in 5 parts representing the big steps of my life...
It's really a so special gift and I can't wait to "complete" it with my pics!!!!!

It's a beautiful day today here, fresh and with a wonderful blue sky!

So, today I found some nice images about Petrol Green...
Do you like it? The first time I saw it I think I could never wear anything with this color but now, I have to say, that I've totally changed my mind...
Now...I love it!!!!
I'm crocheting myself a scarf with this color and I'm going to love it so much...
It's awesome with black but also so stylish with grey, rusty orange, brown...
Perfect for Fall!!!

I Did!
I love the color, I love the shape, I love the way they look in a field...
They are the maximum expression of Autumn for me and when I saw them in a field or in a yard, they make me happy with that brillian rusty orange!!!!
And...of course...I also loooove theyr taste...soups, cakes...

Another Shawl...DONE!!!!

Hello!!!!!
how are you today?
I would like to show  you my new shawl, I've completed the Alpine Shawl I spoked you in a post some days ago...
I loved so much to make it, it took me 2 weeks and I only worked on it in the evening so...it was fast to make...

I absolutely love this shawl, it's so beautiful and soft and I think it will be perfect for Autumn...
The color is perfect to wear with jean and add a sophisticated touch to your look...

It's soft and warm and wrap perfectly around your shoulder or neck, this yarn (part wool and pasrt bamboo) is perfect for this kind of shawl I think...

I love pineapples, they are easy to make and look great!
And the fringes, are so unusual, not the classic fringes...they are fun!

Can't wait for fresh temperatures for start to wear it!!!! LOL!!!!!
Now...going to search another project...I'm crochet-holic...LOL!!!

Half Granny Square Shawl

Hi and Happy Sunday to all!
Yesterday I finished my 1st Shawl ever and I'm so excited to show it to you!!!
It's more than a shawlette than a shawl as it's not very big but I'm so delighted about the result!

I had 4 balls of this very "Fall" yarn in my stash and so I decided to go ahead with them.
I can't find one more to the shop where I bought them 2 years ago and this caused that my shawl is actually a shawlette...LOL!!!!

I found on Raverly a free and easy pattern for this half granny square shawl and I fell in love with it!

I've just added a nice border to the original pattern and this is the result!

A new project

Hi and good Saturday my friends!!!

My long week end of relax is going well and I'm really enjoying it!!!This morning...I got a fresh and wonderful manicure, I'll show you it later...

As I found that crochet really gives me peace, joy and happiness...LOL...I started a new project!

I looked through my yarn stash and I found this beautiful variegated yarn with all the shades of autumn...
Ok...I know that we are really so close to spring but...this yarn really seemed so perfect to me for this project!

So...I started to crochet it and I'm loving the way is growing up through my hands!

This surely will help me to improve my crocheting skills and get a bit of practice for a future project that...I've already chose...

So...I have to work fast on this and...start that one...LOL!!!

Guess what this little triangle will be... ;O)

Ok...yesterday after work, after dinner, after setting the kitchen and after a shower (...) I worked till late night to my wall quilt...

Actually... I only need to make 3 more blocks and then I can start to assembly the top...

Let's go girl...I can do it!!!! :O)

A new quilt for my fireplace

Hi!
I started a new wall quilt some months ago and since this morning...it was an UFO left alone on a chair on my sewing room...
I started it thinking that I'd need something new to hang on my fireplace but...as sometimes happens...I start a new project with a lot of enthusiasm and then...I've lost this enthusiasm...on the road...

I started a gazillion of other projects after this...sky over my head is...full of UFO's...LOL!!!!

But this morning...I got up with a renewed enthusiasm, I took my centre medallion and...I start to sew the zig zag around the appliquè!
I worked on it for about 2 hours and I have to say that...I'm happy with the result...

Actually...I've made also some blocks, this will be a wallhanging with autumn colors theme...
In the next days, I'll go ahead working on this project and...please, follow here if you would like to see the final result...

WELCOME FALL!!!!!!

Hi!

Summer is definitely ending and so...this is my warm welcome to the Fall/Autumn season!



This is a beautiful and unique crocheted collar or neckwarmer!

I made it with an italian yarn that is 100% Merino Wool.The vibrants colors have all the shades of the autumn leaves, from green to brown and orange!The collar or neckwarmer is 17" long and x 4" wide.

It's closed with a button and I've crocheted a button hole.I've added a crocheted little flower that surely adds a very nice touch!

It's Harvest time on Stylish Stems' shop

Our summer sadly is ending, the days are still hot and sunny but...we will have some rain in the next few days so...summer...Goodbye...
Now...we are ready for the awesome colors of the Fall season and Stylish Stems' shop is full of wonderful fall items!!!!
I found this Scarecrow in a hay bale arrangement, it's beautiful and surely looks great in any front door!!!!
