Hello my Friends!!!
How are you today?
I got up this morning with...a big need of sweetness...
So I decided to treat myself baking something of delicious and...I decided to cook "Camille".
Do you know them?
They are a sort of Muffin made of carrots.
They taste so delicate and so wonderful, exactly what I needeed this morning...LOL.
Just in case you would like to try them, here there is the recipe:
200 gr of carrots
200 gr of granulated sugar
2 eggs
100 gr of seed oil
100 gr of milk
300 gr of all purpose flour
16 gr of baking powder
50 gr of almonds
a pinch of salt
Put in the blender sugar and almond and minch them together.
Then add carrots and minch again.
Add eggs, oil, milk,flour and salt and mix well all together until you reach a creme.
Finally add baking powder and mix again.
Take your paper cups and put a tablespoon of dough in each one.
Bake them in a preheat oven at about 160 degrees for about 15/20 minutes.
That's all!

How are you?
How is your Summer going?
I didn't write so much lately...well...really...I didn't write at all...LOL!!!
So Today I would love to show you what I'm working on...
I'm making a Grandmathe's Flower Garden runner for my kitchen table...
I chose fall colors so I have to finish it before Fall...LOL!!!
I always loved so much this pattern but I know it's a bit tricky...
I'm sewing it all by hand using some plastic templates I bought several years ago...
I have to say that...I love hand sew...I find it so relaxing and I can bring these little hexagons with me everywhere and work on them easily...
In effect lately I didn't sew so much...I needed to start to sew again and this seems the perfect project!
Few years ago I made myself a kind of portable workstation for hand sew or embroidery and I'm finding it so useful too!
Hope to be able to post my progresses soon!
Does anyone have any idea how to finish this runner?
I mean...I never made Grandmather's flower garden and I know it's a bit tricky add batting and backing because of the hexagons...
Any help will be soooo appreciated!!!!!

It's Friday again...time flies sooooo fast don't you think?
Well...few days ago at work there was a class about sugar paste decoration for our customers.
A Pastry Chef teached them to make these super cute animals for Easter...
They really were wonderful so I decided to take some pics for you too...
Aren't they pretty????
Plus, today is WOMAN DAY so...many wishes to all the women all around the world!!!!

I got up this morning under...the snow!!!
All is white and quite all around...
The perfect day for enjoy a warm house...LOL!!!
I decided to make myself a special breakfast in this special Sunday...
Pancakes with maple syrup...sooooo delicious!!!!
I ate them with a cup of coffee...!!!!
Then...I decided to start a new sewing project...
As I told you in an other post...I need a table topper...
So I started working on it...

Is everything ok there?
The week end started and this...is a good thing...LOL!!!
About cooking...I have to admit that...I've never be a fan of cookin...ok...I must cook because I must eat but...that's all...
Lately...I discover a bit of joy in cooking things and so...there are some of the things I cooked ...
Little stars of bread with herbs cheese, cherries tomatoes and olives...
Lasagne...
Fresh salad with celery, apples, cheese, pepper and walnuts...
Omelette with ham and tuna sauce rolled and sliced...
And...last but not least...a wonderful strudel with apples, walnuts, pine cones, cinnamon, sugar and amaretti cookies...yummy...
What is your favourite dish to cook?

Hello My Friends!!!!
How are you today?
I'm feeling better after the flu finally!!! YAY!!!
I'm still a bit tired and I still have a bit of cold but...definitely...I feel better!
I'd like to show you my new colorful placemat...
I know...it's not an awesome or incredible project...I did much better in the past but...this is the 1st one of my new life...
I found so hard to find the "love of sewing" again...I think I'm a bit depressed and this is not nice...
So...I really loved to sew this easy and small project for get instant gratification ! LOL!!!
It has a patchwork centre realized with scraps of fabrics...
Then I sewed laces on 2 of the edges and added borders all around...
Quilted it all and...hand sewed the binding ( this is my favourite part...I found hand sewing the binding sooooo relaxing!!!!)
And...TADAAAAA...it's done!!!
It looks great on my new table and make me happy!!!
Now...my next project will be a table topper...
I bought this new white square table, I love it so much!
But...I'd like to have a fun and happy table topper on it...maybe something that change every season...

Hello My Friends!
How are you today?
I feel like these flowers that are hardly trying to keep the "head" trought the snow...
Yes...I've been sick for all past week...
I started to feel bad Monday morning and immediately the fever jumped up...
Then, pain everywhere, headache, sore troat, cold...wow...what a list!
I really fell so bad especially because for 5 day I wans't able to put the fever down...
This was my very first time being sick and...alone...
And believe me, it was not nice...
My parents were sick too so they didn't come to visit, anyway, also of they were not sick, I would not like that they come here...the flu is so contagious...
I am a strong girl or at least this is what I like to think about myself but, in the meantime, I don't like to be alone...never...also when I feel good, I'd love to chat, laugh, share my toughts with someone.
This is why I'm feeling so hard to live alone.
And, you could easily imagine how bad I fell...sick and alone...
Anyway...today I came back to work and the "normal" life is starting again...
The sun is shining and this is a good reason for smile!
Plus, just the day before the flu, I sewed a placemat for me, I just need to hand sew the binding and it's done.
This is my very first sewing project since I'm here in the new home and probably...a new start of projects!
Plus, I've finally found the pattern for my new crochet blanket, I'm making a grey giant granny square and I'm loving working on it!
Next post I'll share pics!
