When life gives you scraps...

make a quilt!!!

Every quilter knows this old saying and as a quilter...I know it too!

I love to make quilts for me, family and friends and love to fill my house with them!

I love traditional quilts, country quilts, Amish quilts...

I love to think about them, create and sew them, feel the soft touch of the fabrics in my hands, smell them...I'm a fabricholic...LOL!!!!

Those are some of my creations...enjoy them! :O)

Quando la vita ti da degli avanzi...cuci un quilt.

Ogni quilter conosce questo vecchio detto e come quilter anche io lo conosco e lo seguo...

Amo cucire quilts per me, la mia famiglia, amici e riempire la mia casa con loro.

Mi piacciono i quilt tradizionali, country, Amish...

Mi piace pensare alla creazione di un nuovo quilt, cucirlo, sentire il tocco soffice delle stoffe nelle mie mani, sentire il loro profumo...

Sono una "stoffa-dipendente".

Queste sono alcune delle mie creazioni.

What a simple flower can do for you?

Well... I have to say that in my house...is my hubby that take care of our garden, yard and all the flowers...
we have flowers everywhere here around, he really has a "green thumble"...
mine surely is DARK...or...BLACK!!!! LOL
I don't care so much about flowers...I prefere my gadgets like computer, cell phone, ipod...my fabrics, sewing room...ETSY...
But...this morning, I got up and find this wonderful flower over the table.
Iit seemed that it looked at me, try to say something like "hey you!!!! I'm here!!! can you see me???"
Oh yes, I can see you and you are so beautiful, delicate and strong at the same time and you make me happy!
So...thanks pink little flower...today you got me a really nice start of the day!!!


Devo dire che a casa mia, è mio marito che si prende cura del nostro giardino, orto e fiori vari...
Abbiamo fiori ovunque, lui ha veramente il "pollice verde" mentre il mio è SCURO...direi proprio NERO!!!!
A me generalmente non importa molto dei fiori, preferisco i miei gadget come il computer, il cellulare, il mio ipod e poi le mie stoffine, la mia stanza del cucito...Etsy...
Ma stamattina, mi sono svegliata ed ho trovato questo bellissimo fiore sul tavolo.
Sembrava che mi gaurdasse e provasse a dirmi "hey tu! mi vedi? sono qui!"
Certo che ti vedo e sei veramente bello, fragile ma forte allo stesso tempo e guardarti mi rende felice!
Così...grazie piccolo fiore rosa per avermi regalato un dolce risveglio e un buon inizio di giornata!!!

My holidays: Provence - France

Finally...my hubby and I have had our holidays...

I love so much travel and my favourite land is...USA...

But...this year, unfortunately...it was not possible to go there...

so...we chose...PROVENCE!

It was soooo beautiful, just a week but...more intense...

we traveled every day with our car and every day we saw something new and gorgeous!

Provence is a wonderful place, you can find everything there: sea, mountains, relax and...LAVENDER!!!

We found tons of lavender's fields and...they are great!!!

Now we are at home again but in our mind we still have the images of those wonderful places and in our nose the smell of lavender!!!

Finalmente io e mio marito siamo riusciti a regalarci una settimana di vancaza...

Io amo viaggiare e la mia meta preferita sono gli USA ma...quest'anno purtroppo non era possibile...

Così abbiamo scelto la Provenza.

E' stato bellissimo, una sola settimana ma molto intensa...

Abbiamo viaggiato in posti diversi ogni giorno con la nostra macchina.

La Provenza è veramente bellissima, trovi tutto: mare, montagna, relax e divertimento e soprattutto...la lavanda!!!

Abbiamo visto campi immensi di lavanda...un vero spettacolo!

Ora siamo tornati a casa ma abbiamo nella nostra mente le immagini di quei posti meravigliosi e ancora sentiamo il profumo di quei campi di lavanda...

Sono arrivata!!! I'm here!!!!
