Putting down Xmas decorations

Hi!!!!
this week end I'm going to put down my Xmas decorations but...as I didn't show you them when I put them up...I'm showing you them now before to take them away...




I didn't make a Xmas tree but I decided to decorate my console...
So I chose a tree branch and put on it my Xmas decorations .

I love the way all turned out...all white and red...it made me smile every time I opened the door...

Now it's time to put them away and come back to the normality but I will miss my decorations LOL!

Will have to find something else that make me happy to put on the console until next Xmas...

See you on next post...this week end I'm going to work on the baby quilt...

I'll show you my progresses...

Welcome 2016

Dear Friends,

First of all...Happy New Year to all of you!!!

I wrote my latest post several months ago...and so it's time to write again...

Some things are already changed in my life...I've had another move and so I've got a new apartment...

This one is nicer and bigger than the old one and I have a bigger sewing room so I'm going to sew again...

I did some sewing for Xmas, some little Xmas gifts and now I'm going to start some new projects...

I have to make a baby quilt in the next few days as a friend of mine got a new baby girl...

But...in the meantime...I'm happy to show you the first project I finished yesterday ...

It's not bad...3 days of the new year and I'm already done with one project!!!

Mmm...yes...not really...I've started this crochet blanket about 3 years ago LOL!!!!

But now...it's done !!!

Ok this is my blanket...I love the way it turned out and it's perfect now as it's cold outside ...it keeps me warm...

This is the first time that I'm writing a post with my iPad and I have no clues about the way it will turn out...

So...it's better that I close here and go to check...LOL!!!!

Crochet Projects

Hello!
Patchwork is not my unique passion...I also love crochet!
I find it so relaxing and and I can do it everywhere...
Actually I'm working on two different projects...just because one is not enough LOL!!!!

The first one is a "long" project...I'm making a granny square blanket...
A friend of mine gave me 3 big balls of beautiful grey yarn and so I decided to make a blanket...

I love colors so I added some colors to my grey blanket...
I'm using a light green, pink and light blue yarn too...

I'm liking the way it's turning out and I like the fact that I can do it every day...watching tv or listening my favourite music... Granny Square is a really easy crochet pattern and this is great for relax...

For my second faster project I chose colorful cottons...

I found a nice pattern on internet ...it was for a sit cover but I decided to make it as a big and colorful doily for my kitchen table...

For spring season I strongly need colors LOL!!!!!

I've just started this second project today so...I'm sharing with you my progress...

I think it will be bright and happy...

This is how it's turning out...I can't wait to have it done and put it on my table...

It's Almost 1 year...

...That I didn't write anything on my blog...
No more things happened during this period, so I didn't have so much to write...
Anyway...during last period...I come back to sewing...I sew lots of Christmas gifts and I enjoyed it so much...
In this post...I just want to share with you what I did...

I sew some Angels...

A cute appliquè pillow...

Some Mug Rug that I gave away with a jar filled of hot chocolat powder...

and...last but not least...a Quilt!!!
I totally looooved to sew it...it was so much time I didn't make a whole quilt...
I draw the pattern by myself...I sew patch by patch it all and I quilted it...

Now...I'm going to start some new Crochet project too...

Few Things I made Lately...

Hi there!
How are you all?
Winter seems not have an end this year...yesterday we got rain and also snow again...
Today was better but...tomorrow...snow and rain again...
So...in this period...I'm feeling a little bit more crafty...LOL!!!
I would love to show you what I made lately...
I needed a new coffee set so I made these coasters and trivet.

I love the way they turned out because I think they are happy!

And so...they are making more happy my kitchen and my coffee break!

Then...I needed something for my oven...a kind of oven cover...
As my kitchen is grey and white and curtains are red...I chose the same colors for fabrics and I made this:

It has the perfect size for cover my oven...

I made rounded borders because I like them more then squared ones...

I like how it looks over my oven...what do you think?

And then...I made this mug rug as a gift for a friend...

Today I made another project but...I'll show you it in a separate post...

For the love of cooking

Hello!!!
How are you today?
Well...I hope you are feeling better than me...
I got up yesterday with...the flu...bleahhhh...
Fever, sore throat and pain everywhere...
So yesterday I spent all the day into my bed...
Today...the fever is gone so...I can stay up...

But...I have to spend all the day inside in the house so...I started with an healthy breakfast...
Banana, apple, almonds and red fruits...mmm...sooo yummy!!!!

Then I decided to give myself an unusual lunch...maple syrup pancakes...
Cause I'm sick...I need some sweetness...LOL!!!!

Aaaanndddd...last bu not least...I made some chocolate muffins...
Well...nothing of particular strange you can think but...I bake them into the microwave!!!!!
Did you ever try this????
In just 6 minutes...you can have glorious muffins!!!!!

This is my recipe for about 6 muffins:

1/2 teaspoon baking powder
30 gr butter
60 gr dark chocolate
75 gr all purpose flour
1 egg
45 ml milk
70 gr sugar

Put in a bowl chopped butter and chocolate  and put them into the microwave for about 30-40 seconds or until they melt...
Then put the egg, milk, butter and chocolate in the blender and mix all together...
Put flour and baking powder in a large bowl and well mix them...
Then add the liquids ingredients to the flour and mix everything well.
Now put your mixture into cups and bake them into the microwave at the highest temperature for about 3 minutes!!!
And...voilà!!!
Your muffins are ready and they taste...awesome!!!!

Smoothies World

Hello my Friends!!!
How are you all?
It's long time that I didn't write here in my blog...shame on me!
Well...not much things are happened...still living alone, still working (fortunately), still sewing and crafting from time to time...not as much as I would like but...a bit more...

Lately...I "meet" the smoothies world...I discovered them on Pinterest (LOL) and tried them!!!

The first one I've tried was made of  spinach, 2 carrots, 1 orange, one babana, a bit of water.
You can't believe how delicious it was!

Simply put all the ingredients in the blender and...voilà!!!!
Your smoothie is ready to be "drunk".

Then I've tried another one for breakfast.

This one was made of 1 apple, 1 banana, spinach, 5 almonds, a bit of water, 1 teaspoon of maple syrup and a bit of cinnamon.

Again put all the ingredients in the blender and...in few minuts your delicious and so healthy breakfast is done!!!

I think they are great for eating fruits and veggies every day!
You can made them in a gazillion of differents way...and have one different each day if you want!
